Country InvolvementIn the War in Afghanistan many countries were involved including; NATO, Italy, Netherlands, and Afghanistan. The government of Afghanistan is allied with the U.S. because they are trying to overthrow the Taliban who are attacking the Afghan military and ultimately ruling Afghanistan. When NATO became an alliance, they were the core of power. The leader of the Taliban, Mullah Omar, launched an attack against the ISAF, who had 43 troops in different countries. The Taliban attacked them with suicide bombers, guerilla raids, and ambushes throughout the country side.
